Windmills, not giants
Don Quixote rode at the mills because he needed giants. The sails turned in ordinary wind; he named them an army. The joke is old, and still useful: a brand can tilt at spectacle, or it can look at the mill.
Quixote OS keeps the windmill in the mark on purpose. A mill is a machine that does work in public — sails, stone, a road beside it. Not a castle. Not a secret engine. The analogy is literary, not a product diagram.
